
The Bhojpur temple was built by the king of Bhopal , Raja Bhoj during the 11th century . It is famous for the largest monolith shivlinga . The height of shivlinga in the temple is about 7.5 feets tall , lies on a 21 foot tall platform and is about 18 feet in circumference . The surrounding area of the temple is lushed with greenery and the flowing river , Betwa , which enhances the beauty of whole of the area .
